Hi! My name is Annabelle, but most people call me Belle. I’m 11 years old and live in Fort Collins. I’m a very active person, and I love playing volleyball and swimming. Volleyball is really fun for me because I get to be part of a team, work together with others, and keep improving my skills. I’m also a swimmer at FAST, where I spend a lot of time practicing and getting faster in the water. When I’m not at practice, I love to read and hang out with my friends. After a busy day, one of my favorite things to do is relax with a good book. At home, I spend a lot of time with my dogs. I’m an only child, so I like to say they’re basically my siblings. We love going on walks, playing together, or just cuddling up on the couch. I’m in middle school, and I really like where I go. I enjoy being involved and spending time with my classmates. I think I’m a kind and fun person, and I really like staying active, being with my friends, and spending time with my pets. On weekends, you can usually find me swimming, playing volleyball, or just relaxing at home with my dogs and a good book.
Our Story
Hi! My name is Ella, and I’m a four-year-old Boxer. I like to think I’m pretty much the sweetest dog ever. My absolute favorite thing in the world is my tennis ball. I could chase it all day long—seriously, I never get tired of it! When I’m not playing fetch, I love to play-fight with my brother. We wrestle and tumble around, and it’s always so much fun. I also love food. Honestly, any time food is out is my favorite time of day. I get so excited because you just never know when someone might share a little snack with me! My favorite person in the whole world is Belle. I follow her everywhere because I always want to be close to her. The only time I leave her side is if there’s another kid around—because kids usually mean more attention, and I definitely don’t want to miss out on that. Everyone calls me “Princess,” and I think it fits perfectly. I have everything I could ever want—lots of love, fun, food, and cozy places to relax. I mean, I deserve it, right? I also have a big family that I love to visit. My mom, Tootsie Rose, lives in Laporte with my grandma, Grammy. One of my sisters, Lala, lives there too, along with my Uncle Howie. I get so excited when I go visit them because I love seeing everyone. My other sister, Ceci, lives close by, and I always have the best time playing with her when I visit. My life is pretty amazing if you ask me—full of fun, family, and lots and lots of love!
Hi! My name is Bogart, but most people call me Bo. I’m an English Setter, and I’m pretty much always happy. Seriously—I love everyone I meet! I do have a few things that make me a little different. I have a lot of allergies, I’m half deaf, and I get really carsick (which is not fun at all). I also bark… a lot. But my family still loves me, and I definitely love them right back. I like to think I’m a great hunter. I chase squirrels and bunnies every chance I get—even though I’m technically supposed to be a bird hunting dog. Close enough, right? My sister, Reiba, is a big deal—she’s a show dog and has won lots of amazing awards. I could never do that, though, because being half deaf makes it hard to hear all the important commands. But that’s okay with me. I’d much rather be running around and having fun anyway. My favorite way to play is tug-of-war, especially with my crinkle toys. I love them because I can hear the crinkly sound, which makes it even more exciting! My favorite person kind of changes depending on the time of day—I just love being with everyone in my family. Honestly, my favorite time of day is anytime we’re all together… as long as I’m not getting play-tackled to the ground by my sister! Life is pretty great if you ask me.
